October 2017 - Copper Coast
This October 20-22nd I will be co-leading a two day photography workshop in the Copper Coast with John Dunne. This is a perfect opportunity for you to advance your photography skills while shooting alongside two award winning photographers in a little known, but amazingly beautiful location.
The Copper Coast is a diverse geological area in southern Ireland that is named for the historic metal mining industry of the area. It is peppered with ruins of times past, glorious cliffs falling into the Celtic Sea and beautiful sea stacks.
On this two day photography workshops we will take you around the area to shoot a bit of it all. In each location we will be there to help you find the best angles from which to shoot and if you desire, to aid you in your photographic decisions, from composition to lens choices, shutter speeds to filters. The level of help you receive is entirely up to you.
This workshop is intended for all photographers, regardless of skill level or equipment. This is an especially interesting workshop for those interested in long exposure photography.
Your workshop leaders will be Athena Carey and John Dunne, two international award-winning photographers who have lead workshops and courses around the world with a wide range of participants – young and old, experienced and beginning photographers. Travel with them to discover and photograph the Copper Coast in Ireland.
In order to keep the workshops personal and to ensure that you will receive ample, individual attention from your instructors, only 10 spots are available for each one.
